Pork Galbi is a boneless cut about ¼ inch thick and is typically marinated in soy sauce, sugar, onion, garlic, scallion, and ume plum syrup. The marinade helps tenderizes the meat and rids of any unwanted scent from pork. When cooked it is savory with subtle sweetness and caramelization from marinade has a lot of umami notes. The tenderness is close to the bite texture of ground beef and retains its’ juiciness very well.
